HOW I STYLE... LEATHER TROUSERS.

I have to admit (as will many of you) that leather trousers never really were my kind of style HOWEVER since reading a high street edit in Company Magazine by a girl called Laura (fashion stylist), I started to open my eyes to the world of leather and realised it wasn't that scary after all!

MY TROUSERS:

I decided to opt for these skinny 'leather look' trousers to style up, I decided on these trousers as they are not too 'scary' as some of the other leather trousers and they are also quite simple and not in  your face at all!

NEXT, to go with these amazing 'leather look' trousers I found this cami top...

This monochrome dogtooth print is perfect to fit in with the current A/W trends but it also looks amazing paired with the 'leather look trousers'.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT SHOES, JACKET AND JEWELLERY I WOULD STYLE THIS OUTFIT UP WITH THEN PLEASE COMMENT DOWN BELOW AND I WILL ADD IT ON!

ESSIE MINT CANDY APPLE NAIL POLISH DUPE.

Essie's nail polish in the colour mint candy apple was a very popular shade last summer, although it is still a common shade this summer! I restrained myself from buying it as I just couldn't justify spending £9.00 on one nail polish.
 A couple of days ago I was in Superdrug browsing through the nail polishes and I did come across Essie's mint candy apple nail polish, I was so close to just picking it up and running to the till before I changed my mind BUT the MUA stand caught my eyes just before I got to the till. I really like MUA products, they are so good for so little money.
£1 for a lipstick that is very pigmented and stays on for a substantial amount of time! You really cannot fault that.
Anyway I had noticed that MUA had changed the packaging on some of their nail polishes (which made them look a lot similar to Essie polishes!). Then I suddenly came across this;

MUA nail polish in the shade Pistachio Ice Cream.

I put both the Essie and MUA nail polishes next to each other and the colour looked so similar I couldn't even tell the difference; the only difference was the price (£7.99 for the Essie nail polish and only £1.00 for the MUA nails polish)! Baffled by my find I dropped the Essie nail polish and instead I took the MUA one to the till.

Here is how it looks on the nails (one coat)

If you are like me and would rather go for the cheaper option then defiantly take a look at MUA nail polishes in Superdrug; they also had a dupe for the Essie nail polish in Fiji!

FASHION BUY OF THE DAY | 21/04/2013

I am attending a wedding party on the 11th May and it suddenly occurred to me that I don't have any decent  shoes to wear! Therefore this obviously ended in me doing some online shopping; I then found myself on the H and M website browsing through the sale section and I came across these BEAUTY'S!

*I apologies that these are not my own pictures I just couldn't wait til they actually arrived to write this blog post!*

These shoes are currently in the H and M sale for ONLY £15, so if you want them I would hurry up! You can click here to have a look at them on their website. I absolutely love them, they are so versatile too; you can wear them with a dress, skirt, jeans or even leggings/ disco pants. I am still unsure as to what dress I will be wearing for the wedding party; I will have to delve into my wardrobe and have a look or (most likely) I will find myself doing some more online shopping!

REVLON COLORBURST LIP BUTTER | REVIEW.

I had read a lot about the Revlon Lip Butters (mostly good!), therefore because of this I thought I would just treat myself and buy one! Now I am trying to stop myself from buying more!

As I am a massive sucker for lipsticks therefore I just knew I had to try this one out eventually, and I could not be happier with it! A lot of people say this lip product is more of a tinted lip balm, however I would disagree and say the product is defiantly a mixture between a lip balm and a lipstick. The Revlon Lip Butters are very VERY pigmented (for what they are anyway) but they are also very soothing on the lips! When I wear my Revlon Lip Butter it feels like i'm not even wearing any product on them at all; I don't need to worry about getting it on my teeth or it smudging half way down my face.

I got the colour 045 Cotton Candy, this colour has tiny specs of gold shimmer therefore when applied onto
the lips it looks even more glossy!

NOTE: If you don't like lipsticks that look slightly glossy on this lips this product might not be for you. However I always used to stick to matte lipsticks but since trying this one my views have defiantly changed!

I have been using this product for about 2 months now and I have absolutely no faults with it! I highly recommend everybody to buy it, or even just take a look at it when you're next in a make up store.

2013 SPRING/ SUMMER FASHION | MONOCHROME AND NEONS.

MONOCHROME

The monochrome trend is very popular this spring/ summer, it is such a simple colour combination which means anyone can dress it up or down to suit them.
Here is an outfit suggestion (within the monochrome trend) that I have put together;
"Fuzzy Square Print Shirt" - Topshop
Price - £35.00

"Black Smart Dungarees" - River Island
Price - £40.00
NOTE: Personally I would undo one of the ties on the dungarees; this will show off more of the checked shirt. I would also slightly role up the bottoms on the dungarees.

"GEORGE Peep Toe Shoe Boot" - Topshop
Price - £75.00

NEONS

However some people can find the monochrome trend to be quite boring and (sometimes) too simple, therefore some stylist will add "a splash of colour" to their outfit. Another popular trend this spring/ summer is neon's.
Here are some neon accessories you could pair with the outfit above;

"Fluro Yellow Fishnet Sock" - Topshop
Price - £4.00
NOTE: I would make sure the top of the sock is slightly showing from the top of the boot.

"Neon Yellow Cut Out Clutch" - River Island
Price - £9.99

"Wayfarer Sunglasses" - Forever 21
Price - £4.90
NOTE: You don't necessary have to wear the sunglasses, just hanging them on your dungarees will still look good.
